21. Loosen the steering wheel adjustment and pull the steering wheel fully toward you and down. On the instrument cluster, remove the two trim pieces using a crooked pick or thin, small-bladed screwdriver. Then remove the screw behind each trim piece. 22. Drop down the fuse box door and remove the screw on either side on the steering column. (Not present on some models) 23. Unsnap the cluster lower trim piece by putting both of your thumbs under the middle of the piece - press up and pull back to unsnap it. LHD: Lay it on the fuse box door. Do not disconnect the wires. RHD: Disconnect the wires (noting their location for later reconnection) and remove the trim piece. 24. Remove the 2 bolts which retain the bottom edge of the cluster. Pull up and back to dislodge the cluster assembly. LHD: It is not necessary to unplug and remove the cluster. RHD: Unplug the wires from the back of the cluster and remove it. 25. LHD: Tilt the cluster back at the top - reach over the cluster and remove the large phillips screw directly behind it. RHD: Remove the large phillips screw behind the cluster.
