LHD cars (North America, most of Europe etc.): the two stepper motors/gearboxes (Air Distribution and Air Temperature) are mounted on a single bracket and share a common electrical connector. They are located next to the glovebox.
RHD cars (UK, Australia, NZ, Japan etc.): the two stepper motors/gearboxes are located separately. Air Distribution is behind the instrument cluster and Air Temperature is next to the glovebox.
Each can be identified from the
outside by the specific type of lever arm.
